Erasmus+ Program enables university academic staff to spend teaching periods at the partner universities via bilateral agreements in which the staff mobility for teaching assignments is foreseen. Bilateral agreement is required for staff exchange program.

The purposes of STA may be summarized as follows:

  1. to provide teaching staff with opportunities for personal & professional development
  2. to share expertise in specialist areas within teacher education, to deepen mutual understanding of different European Education Systems and to raise the profile of the European Dimension in Education
  3. to allow students who are not able to participate in mobility to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of staff in other European institutions.

Faculty/Administrative staff members must be full-time/part-time employees of Kadir Has University (KHAS). The staff members who have a contract with KHAS can also participate in the program even though the employee does not have a tenure at KHAS.

Important Note: The staff who have a contract with the higher education institution can benefit from the program in that HEI. The staff who have a permanent contract with a HEI, yet effectively work in a different HEI under a fixed term contract shall participate in the staff mobility program in the institution they effectively work, not in the institution they have an indefinite contract with.

All the mobilities should last min 2 days and max 4 days. The activity should consists 8 hours of teaching.

Important Note: If the activity lasts less than 2 days or the hours are less than the minimum requirement, the activity is considered as invalid.

To be able to participate in this mobility program, your Department/Faculty must have a valid Erasmus+ staff exchange agreement with the host institution you intend to visit. If you wish to visit an institution that is not yet our partner, we urge you to inform the host institution and initiate the procedure for signing the agreement. Please note that an institution must have an Erasmus Charter to be able to take part in this mobility.
