Erasmus+ Consortia means a group of higher education institutions with Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and other organizations (companies, associations, chambers of commerce, municipalities, foundations, etc.) coming together to offer more and better Erasmus traineeship opportunities to the students of higher education. Kadir Has University has become part of such a consortium, namely the European Internship Consortium (Avrupa Staj Konsorsiyumu), to increase the quantity and quality of traineeship opportunities in Europe for its students.

For internship applications through an Erasmus+ Consortium, students do not have to find an internship place before the application. In other words, students can apply without arranging a niche for themselves in advance. The Consortium will match the selected students with the available spots, and final placements will be decided according to the demands of the enterprise/organization. The Consortium does not guarantee to find a place since the requirements of the enterprise/organization from the trainee for the relevant position will be the determining factor for the final decision. Those who the enterprise/organization selects may be called for an interview.

Students may also apply with an invitation letter if they have already found a place for themselves. In this case, the Consortium will decide about the suitability of the place for the student. If positive, those students will prioritize the available grant allocation. Detailed information regarding Consortia and procedures for European Internship Consortia Traineeship Mobility can be found on the Consortia’s webpage: http://euro-intern.org/

Consortia will announce the call for traineeship mobility. Please follow our updates. As of now, there is no open call!

The student can do a placement between 2 to 12 months. However, to help more students benefit from the Erasmus+ Grant, payments are made for 2 months.

Suppose you previously participated in Erasmus+ student mobility or internship mobility. In that case, your previous participation shouldn’t exceed 10 months as under Erasmus+ program rules, and you can benefit from a grant of up to 12 months in each cycle (bachelor’s, master’s, and phd).

For this mobility, students are required to obtain Health Insurance, Liability Insurance, and Accident Insurance before the internship. They are responsible for passport and visa applications, other procedures for traveling abroad, and finding accommodation.
