KHAS Economics – Contemporary Debates: Dr. Cem Özgüzel

Dr. Cem Özgüzel from OECD will be the next guest of Contemporary Debates, organized by Kadir Has University Department of Economics, with his speech “Trusting Immigrants” on December 26 at 5 pm in Fener Hall.

About the Speaker: Dr. Cem Özgüzel is an Economist at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and a Research Fellow at the Institut Convergences Migrations and Sorbonne Economics Center. He obtained his PhD in Economics from Paris School of Economics. He is an applied economist with research interests focused on international migration, labour markets and regional economics. In hiswork, he uses large administrative micro-data and employ various econometric methods to provide novel and causal evidence on policy-relevant issues.
