KHAS RTC Returned with Awards from İzmir Short Film Festival 

KHAS Radio, Television and Cinema returned from the 24th İzmir Short Film Festival Awards this year with proud making news.

RTC students Dalya Keleş and Didem Nur Yayman won the mansion award with their “Yer Çekimi” (Gravity) project in the category of Film Lab National.

Our graduate Tilbe Cana İnan, won the best scenario award with her film “Nasıl Kaybolunur” (How To Get Lost) in the category of Fiction.

Our graduate Can Merdan Doğan won the best 2nd movie award with the “En Uzun Gece” (The Longest Night).

İzmir Short Film Festival ended with the award ceremony made on the night of 18 November 2023 Saturday.

On the festival hosted by İzmir municipality at the Havagazı Fabrikası (Gas Factory); industry pioneers granted awards to the young moviemakers. In association with the Culture Ministry, Cinema General Directorate, İzmir Trade Union, Karşıyaka Municipality, Balçova Municipality, Narlıdere Municipality, the İzmir Short Film Festival had people experienced a week full of cinema for 6 days. The demonstrations were made in Fransız Kültür Merkezi, Tarık Akan Gençlik Merkezi, Karaca Sineması, İstinye Art Renk Sineması. The Film Lab division of the festival was held at İzmir Trade Union Union İzQ Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center.
